Patek Philippe Twenty~4
An icon of timeless ladies' elegance
In the world of ladies' haute horlogerie, the Patek Philippe Twenty~4 has been the watch for any occasion since its debut in 1999. The Twenty-4 collection was Patek Philippe's first exclusively women's collection and this was one of the first models to match stainless steel and diamonds. Its name encapsulates the creative concept, that of a watch suitable for any setting, as a great day-to-night accessory. The launch advertising campaign focused precisely on versatility: "Who will you be in the next 24 hours?".
The original Twenty~4, with its stainless steel case and bracelet, and its quartz movement, defined a style with a clear Art Deco influence. With a classic and refined design, at once sporty and elegant, in the "manchette" type of wristwatch. With an arched rectangular case that follows the contours of the female wrist and a link bracelet with a polished finish that is exceptionally smooth and comfortable.
In 2020 the original model was reinterpreted, with the presentation of two Twenty~4 variants in stainless steel, in reference 4910/1200A: one with a sunburst blue dial (4910/1200A-001), and the other with a sunburst grey dial with black gradient on the rim (4910/1200A-010). A year later the variant with an exquisite olive-green dial was launched (4910/1200A-011). The texture of fine sun rays emanating from the centre of each dial creates light effects, giving it a refined and dynamic feel.
The Roman numerals and diamonds on the hour markers of the initial version would give way to Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 o'clock, applied in 18-carat white gold, and to trapezoidal-shaped hour markers applied in the same precious metal. The hour markers and baton-style hands feature a luminescent coating that ensures good visibility under low light or in the dark.
The original shape of the two-tier curved case measuring 25.1 x 30 mm is accentuated by a row of 18 Top Wesselton diamonds set into each of the flanks (approx. 0.42 ct). The Calatrava cross, Patek Philippe's emblem, embellishes the crown. With 30 m water resistance it is a luxury watch tough enough for the everyday activities of modern, active women.
The flexible and comfortable bracelet is one of its great assets. Equipped with a folding clasp decorated by the Calatrava cross, it is hand-finished and fully polished like a fine jewellery bracelet. Similar quality standards apply to the Calibre E15 quartz movement, produced by the Manufature with the same detail and technical expertise as it devotes to its mechanical movements.
The Twenty~4's distinctive luxurious finish joins the timeless design giving it an air of pure class, in this modern classic that could be the first Patek Philippe watch for many young women for whom style and beauty must pass the test of time.
