The essence of Black Bay in black
The Tudor Black Bay Ceramic Master Chronometer is a neo-vintage all-black watch, in a perfect symbiosis between traditional Tudor aesthetics and modern manufacturing techniques that ensure robustness, reliability and high-level precision.
The middle case (carrure) is a ceramic monobloc with a diameter of 41mm, following the already known lines of the Black Bay 41, with micro-blasted finish, except for the edges of the wings.
The ceramic bezel breaks up the black of the set, with the characteristic reflections of the sunray satin finish. The bezel and crown are stainless steel with black PVD coating.
Black Bay Ceramic - M79210CNU-0001
This new Black Bay Ceramic stays true to the principles that made its stainless steel predecessors so sought-after: the vintage look - with the iconic "Snowflake" hands and cream luminescent markers -, and a water resistance of 200m.
The sapphire crystal on the case back lets us appreciate the automatic manufacture calibre MT5602-1U, with matt black finish, and "Master Chronometer" certification by METAS (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
Master Chronometer certification attests to the quality of a watch and not just its movement, by covering the following aspects: precision, water resistance, power reserve, magnetic resistance and origin. The most relevant are an anti-magnetism of up to 15,000 gauss and a daily precision of 0 to +5 seconds.
Tudor proposes this watch with two straps: the first, in rubber with a waterproof leather insert and black PVD folding clasp. And an additional, NATO-style strap in black with a cream stripe and black PVD steel buckle.
The new Black Bay Ceramic is an excellent value proposition for those looking for a robust, reliable and versatile watch, ideal for everyday use.
