The historic Swiss watchmaker launches a new era of Wanderlust with four watch collections designed for modern adventurers, available at the Breitling Boutique Lisboa, located at Av. Liberdade No. 12, in Lisbon.Derived from the German words wandern (to explore) and lust (to desire, to long for), “wanderlust” is more than the desire to travel. It is the instinct to break free from everyday life, leave the noise behind, and pursue whatever lies beyond.
Founded in 1826 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the heart of Swiss watchmaking, Gallet initially created timing instruments for the pioneers and adventurers who shaped a new era of aviation, motorsport, navigation, and exploration. Its watches timed the Wright brothers’ first powered flight, enabled pilots to keep track of the time zones in cities around the world during the early intercontinental flights, and commemorated champion Rex Mays’ victory at the Springfield Mile. Wherever boundaries were being pushed, Gallet was there.
