The New TAG Heuer Professional 200
Closely walking the line between innovation and tradition, TAG Heuer never stops reinventing itself, managing to become even more appealing, if possible, for future generations of watch enthusiasts. As a flagship of Swiss watchmaking excellence and cutting edge technology, TAG Heuer innovations embrace the past to better conquer the future. The TAG Heuer Professional story began in 1978, when Jack Heuer introduced the Heuer Ref. 844 - a watch designed for adventure and outdoor sports, built to be reliable under extreme conditions. The Ref. 844 would be later followed by the 1000 and 2000 Series renamed under the TAG Heuer brand from 1985 onwards.
The Aquaracer name was first launched in 2004 and kept unaltered the six-point design code first used in the 1000 Series - unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down crown, water resistance to at least 200 metres; luminescent markings, sapphire crystal and a double safety clasp. Owner of some of the most iconic collections in the luxury sports watches world - Carrera, Monaco, Formula 1 -, the brand's latest bet was placed in the Aquaracer collection, zeroing in on the Aquaracer Professional 200 model, with the release of eleven different references at LVMH Watch Week 2022.
Available in two case sizes (40mm and 30mm), various dials and automatic (the reliable Calibre 5) and quartz movement, the Aquaracer Professional 200 has all the essentials in a diver's watch. The look of this watch, and the feeling it conveys, is one of a strong spirit of adventure, endurance and ruggedness.
The relatively thin case, measuring just 12mm, is both elegant and gives it a versatility that allows it to be used in sporting and leisure activities, or in a more formal setting. All of the above added to the tempting price tag make it an excellent option and a safe value for the latest addition to any watch collection.
