Chaumet has just taken a significant step in its expansion in the Iberian Peninsula with the opening of its first boutique in Portugal. In partnership with David Rosas, the Parisian Maison chose the emblematic Avenida da Liberdade, at number 12, to unveil this new space that celebrates the tradition, refinement and modernity that define its 245-year history.
Opening on 13th of November 2025, the new Chaumet Boutique is located on one of Lisbon's most prestigious thoroughfares. Remodelled in the 19th century in the style of the grand Parisian boulevards, Avenida da Liberdade offers the perfect setting for a Maison whose identity has been built on the intersection between heritage and contemporaneity. This cosmopolitan atmosphere blends naturally with Chaumet's values and the excellence that David Rosas has come to represent in the world of fine jewellery in Portugal.
The interior of the space reflects the inspiration of the iconic 12 Vendôme address in Paris. The boutique combines Parisian elegance and refinement, evoking the Maison's intimate relationship with royalty - from Napoleon I and Empress Josephine onwards. Among the elements that characterise the atmosphere are a bas-relief mural representing the Bourbon-Parma tiara, as well as the brand's emblematic blue, which contrasts with walls adorned with nickel-silver tiara models.The motifs of golden wheat ears, gently undulating, pay homage to Chaumet's tradition as a ‘naturalist jeweller’. This botanical identity, present in the Maison's creations since the 18th century, takes on new life in a space designed to provide an extraordinary sensory and cultural experience.
The boutique presents Chaumet's three iconic collections - Joséphine, Bee de Chaumet and Liens - as well as an exclusive selection of High Jewellery. Each piece reflects the Maison's unique savoir-faire, marked by poetry, precision and artistic mastery that spans generations.
