ICONIC DESIGN

Meticulous finishes and beautifully achieved lines for a powerful design.

The design of the Polaris Mariner Memovox follows all the codes of the diver's watch: its unidirectional notched rehaut, skeletonized hands in different shapes and colours, power gauge and water resistance of up to 300 meters. Another differentiating element of this new model: an orange ring around the crown, visible whenever it’s not screwed into the safety position.

A deep blue dial, Super-LumiNova® covered numerals, hands and hour-markers. Detailed finishes and perfect lines complete this powerful design.

03

04

THE DNA

In 1950, Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced its first alarm clock known as the Memovox.

In those days, watches were the only tool used for diving. In 1959, the Memovox Deep Sea premiered as the world’s first diving watch with an alarm signal to alert divers on when to resurface.

In 1968, the Memovox Polaris was unveiled, marking the Golden Age of recreational diving.

04

O ADN

05

THE CALIBRE

The new Polaris Memovox encases the Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 956, revised to accommodate the sapphire caseback.

At the heart of this historic model is an iconic function: the alarm. Now the action of the hammer striking the peripheral gong on the side of the case is visible as it emits its characteristic ring.

05

O CALIBRE

06

THE EXPERTISE

In line with high-performance, ISO 6425 compliant dive watches, the crown used to set the inner bezel is screwed down and has an orange security band to warn divers of when it is not fully set into the safety position.

The unidirectional scale can be moved in one-minute increments around the dial.

Legibility is excellent - the hands, numerals and hour-markers are coated with Super-LumiNova®, the minute and the hour hands light up in different colours and intensity in the dark, ensuring there is no confusion when reading time underwater.

06

O CONHECIMENTO
