Briston's birth could be the one that is called a happy ending story. After more than 15 years working in the watch industry, Brice Jaunet realized how fast time passes and that it would be the right time to create his own brand of watches. He learned from the top: Cartier, Baume & Mercier, Raymond Weil and the LVMH Group; combined all the knowledge acquired to his entrepreneurial spirit (that existed since it was only a child) and the legacy of his grandfather Jacques, cofounder of NewMan. To the recipe, he added the final touch: the will and the ambition to give life to his creativity. From here, it was easy. He teamed up with a number of fellow Swiss designers and created a watch brand that reflected all of Brice's personality, his research and his entire experience. Briston watches were born - a sporty, chic and eccentric brand but at the same time accessible, reflecting perfectly the days of Brice as a student at Oxford, his passion for sport and his taste for travel. The combination of the use of innovative materials - such as cellulose acetate and distinctive colours - and their watchmaking DNA turn these pieces into unique, contemporary, casual and chic objects at a perfectly affordable value. A French brand with a distinctly British spirit.
