Fred Fine Jewellery
Fred had the opportunity to share, with some of the greatest personalities of the twentieth century, his passion for jewellery. Opportunity that arose to have grown up in the Parisian life of the 30's. Its origin, however, is referred to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where it was born in 1908. This winning combination between South America and Europe, combined in Fred the French delicacy and refinement with the Argentine warmth and life. The inspiration for Fred jewellery is characterized by life, light, movement and energy. Fred was the jeweller of the Royal Family of Monaco, having even met Princess Grace of Monaco and being the man behind the necklace Richard Gere gave to Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman," the 1989 classic - a sublime necklace with 23 heart-shaped rubies entwined with diamonds. Sail and oar were two of Fred's great passions, inherited by his two sons. In the 1960s, the older man did the unexpected: he offered his wife two intertwined marine ropes, after holding the two ends to a buckle, beginning the FRED signature and one of the most emblematic Fred - Force 10 jewellery collections.
